Thinking about getting your carpets professionally cleaned? Whether you're a homeowner, landlord, or business owner, it's natural to have a few questions before booking. We've rounded up the most common questions we get about our carpet cleaning services — and the answers to help you feel confident in the process.
1. How long does it take for the carpet to dry after professional cleaning?
Drying time depends on the type of carpet, the weather and ventilation — but typically, our standard drying time is up to 90 minutes. Thicker pile carpets or colder conditions can cause the drying time to be slightly longer, however we use industrial fans to speed up the drying process.
2. Do you move furniture before cleaning?
Yes — we're happy to move small items like chairs, tables, and bins. For larger items (like beds or heavy cabinets), we may clean around them unless otherwise agreed, in that case we will move them. If you're unsure, we're happy to advise on what to move ahead of time.
3. Will all stains come out?
While we cannot guarantee EVERY stain will be removed, we use professional-grade solutions that tackle even the toughest of marks like:
- Food & drink spills
- Mud, oil, and grease
- Pet stains and odours
Some permanent stains (like bleach or dye) may not lift fully, but we'll always do our best — and we'll be honest if something can't be removed. We advise to mindful of the ingredients of some retail carpet cleaner products, as often they can contain bleach which will permanently mark the carpet. It is always best to contact us as soon as possible following any stain to the carpet.
4. How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned?
We recommend:
- Homes: At least every 6–12 months and more frequent following any stains.
- Offices / Commercial spaces: Every 3–6 months
- High-traffic areas: More frequently depending on usage
Regular professional carpet cleaning helps extend the life of your carpet and keeps allergens, bacteria, and dust mites at bay.
5. Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes! All the products we use are non-toxic, child-safe, and pet-friendly. Once the carpet is dry, it's safe to walk and play on as usual.
6. Can you clean carpets in flats or high-rise buildings?
Absolutely. We carry portable equipment that can be used in apartments, flats, and other buildings with limited access — no van access needed.
